As anyone who has seen my Goodreads or Kindle analysis posts knows, I read a lot. Once I had a bit of space at home, I started collecting books I’d read in the past, and reading physical books more. Here’s a summary of my collection in 2022, along with a little bit of analysis!
Back in 2017, I was just getting into Android development and spent a lot of time moderating Android-related subreddits. This was a good way to keep myself busy and give back, but 5 years later I… don’t moderate any subreddits. Ever. I wanted to dive into why I lost all motivation, as a warning to others!
One of my favourite possessions that I use almost every day is my Kindle Paperwhite 3 from 2016. I purchased the Paperwhite 5 recently (comparison coming soon!), and decided to analyse the hundreds of books read on my previous Kindle before I say goodbye to it!
Like many people, I purchase… pretty much everything from Amazon, especially since the pandemic. In this post I’ll analyse my own purchasing habits, and provide a template so you can do the same!

With Forza Horizon 5’s fifth series, Horizon Rush Takeover, a ton of new PR stunts & a stunt arena were added alongside the usual cars. Additionally, 23 new accolades were added, here’s how to get them all!
I tend to read quite a bit, and really enjoy Goodreads’ “My Year in Books”. It’s a great way to look back at the last 12 months of data, but I wanted to dive a bit deeper, and include my whole collection. Luckily, I discovered a way to do so…
According to Wallace Boyer in Chuck Palahniuk’s “Rant”: “… every person is obsessed with himself. You are your own favorite hobby. You’re an expert on you”. With that in mind, I spent some time exploring my YouTube viewing / subscribing habits over the last few years!
Anyone who has spent more than 5 minutes talking to me knows I love cats, especially my girl Cassie (pictured in this post!). They’ve always been a big part of my life, and to me the emotional payoff makes almost any cost a great deal. That being said, I was curious how much I actually spend.
Looking for software development posts? I've got another blog for those!
